Community Engagement 

Our vision for community engagement is to ensure more responsive public sector services, develop more cohesive communities and strengthen the community leadership role of elected Councillors of all three tiers of local government in Buckinghamshire.
The Pathfinder Community Engagement approach is seeking to:

• Make it easier and simpler for communities to engage with the whole Public Sector.
• Develop and strengthen community engagement and partnership arrangements based on geographical communities within Buckinghamshire.
• Focus on actions and service improvements to meet local priorities.

Two multi agency pilots for community engagement are being run throughout 2008/09 in Aylesbury Vale District and Wycombe District, along side an assessment of the costs of community engagement accross public sector partners in Buckinghamshire.
