Data protection and privacy statement

The Bucks portal is a joint venture by the County and District councils in Buckinghamshire. The portal complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any personal data collected is processed by the joint data controllers (the councils party to this venture).

The Bucks portal does not sell, share or transfer this information to any other organisation.

The portal uses up to date security procedures and software to keep any personal data collected as safe and secure as possible to protect the data against loss, unauthorised disclosure of data or access.

The portal will use the information collected in accordance with the notifications registered with the Information Commissioner's office by the individual councils.

You can request a copy of the personal details that we hold about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act. A small fee, not exceeding £10 may be payable for this service.
